OH MY GOD, I FOUND THIS SHOW LIKE 3 MONTHS AGO AND DIED. EVERYONE WATCH IT. NICK TURNED IT DOWN RIGHT?

they shoulve tried to get it on the disney channel or cartoon network

i would watch this show and enjoy it

Nickelodeon rejected this? But… it’s so good!

The animation quality is fantastic! The art is really fun and reminiscent of Butch Hartman, but much better in my opinion, and it’s just fun! The backgrounds are great and really add to the atmosphere, it’s like they captured the sketchy feeling of Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, the whimsy of Chowder, and the darker bits of The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, which works really well with its steampunk sort of setting. I like how the setting is steampunk but the clothes and general look also feel sort of reminiscent of the 60s. It’s just fun! Why the FUCK was this not picked up? So Nickelodeon could make more Spongebob? Ugh, when will that sponge just DIE already?

Is it bad I want to cosplay her? XD

I LOVE THIS <3 I LOVE mod fashion and the fact that this animation style doesn’t hurt my eyes

OMG A NEW CARTOON I MIGHT’VE ACTUALLY WATCHED

WHY DID IT GET TURNED DOWN WHYYYY

Woah I’m really digging this style!

Would’ve loved to watch this ugh

its back yaaaay

cool stuff

WOW I NEED TO FANART NOW I NEED TO I FUCKING DO

Last thing I’m going to post on the subject.

Whichever fans did that about Jared, not cool at all and I definitely would have spoken out against it had I known. And let me state again, there is nothing wrong with your opinions or having them or how you feel about the show. Even I agree some more brotherly moments would be nice! The problem is thinking that you are more right than the writers or thinking that the writers need to adopt your viewpoint. That is the problem I have with the Majority, or any other fan group that does the same. They aren’t simply discussing what they feel is wrong, they are pushing it on everyone. There’s a difference.

And now onto the not so nice ones (everyone above, thank-you)

I would like to point out that I have been nothing but civil about this whole thing and made a single post about it. So, uh… yeah. As for the Destiel thing, I don’t speak for everyone, only myself and as a Destiel fan, I’ve already made my feelings about that clear. However, let me say it again. Yes, I like Destiel. Do I think it’s canon? No. Do I want it to be canon? Not really. Do I think it’s right to message the writers and producers saying it should be canon? Absolutely not.

Also I’ve gotten a slew more of asks that are generally like the three above in manner, so I’ve turned off anon. If you can’t play nice, at least do it when you aren’t hiding behind anon.

So in closing, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH WANTING THE SHOW TO BE ABOUT THE BROTHERS. Them posting all the opinions agree with that? NOTHING WRONG. That’s not what my argument is about! It’s not about having an opinion, it’s about feeling like you can tell the writers what to do.

Anyway, mucho apologies for my followers for clogging up your dashes. ;; <33 Much love.

Anonymous: Something tells me you wouldn't have a problem with this if they were tweeting the producers to make the show all about that stupid angel.

Actually, I would. It’s one thing to say you like Castiel, and another to tell the writers they need to make the show about him. I would not endorse that at all.

Anonymous: If you're so against the silent majority, you sure spend a lot of time giving them attention and exposing more and more fans to their ideas. Let it go already.

I have no problem exposing fans to their ideas or people seeing it. It’s not a competition? It’s not a oh, whoever’s side has more followers wins! Everyone should inform themselves and be able to form their own opinions, these are merely mine.

Anonymous: you might want to read this response from the silent majority group before you start calling them "entitled fans demanding writers to change things for them": spnsilentmajority-mod[.]tumblr[.]com/post/23803414433/updatesintro

But they are?

The problem with the Silent Majority group (or any group of fans who demand change, Cas fans included) is that the believe they are right and everyone else is wrong.

Taken from their F.A.Q.

But…I liked season 7!

We’re sure you did! There was a lot of good things in season 7 for fans to enjoy. But you must admit this season was also a bit of a let down. It started really well but then somehow it just lost its way. Can you honestly say that you arrived to this finale with the same trepidation and squee that you remembered in previous years? That that Kansas montage was just as deeply affecting as in years past? Yeah, the brothers were there in almost every scene, but still there was something missing. That something that has always moved us to tears, made us suffer and laugh and care. We loved caring about the characters and holding our hearts in our throats worrying about what was going to happen next. And we want that back!

I must admit? I have to agree with them that the season sucked? Therein lies the problem. And again,

I really haven’t seen many fans complaining.

That’s why we’ve created this blog! Lots of fans think they’re alone in their disappointment, or it’s just their small circle of friends. And they’ve been afraid to speak up. We’ve collected screen captures of over 200 comments from fans across different online platforms (and that’s just what we’ve been able to grab in the couple days without our fingers falling off!) Together, they paint a picture. Similar themes of criticism run throughout them. From casual fans on FB to hard-core fans on LJ, a good part of fandom is upset.

If you’re not, if you loved this season and finale just as much as the last six, that’s totally fine, we respect that. But if you’ve felt that disappointment, we’re hear to tell you: You are not alone.

Their entire argument hinges on the idea that their viewpoint alone is correct and all other opinions on the show are not. They say they recognize other views and respect it yet continue to push their opinion. How they feel isn’t right or wrong but it is, of course, completely opinion. I love Cas, I love S7 Meg, I loved a lot of S6/S7 and the finale but does that mean I should expect everyone to share my perspective on the show? Should I feel hurt or oppressed because my opinion is suddenly not the norm? My problem isn’t with that they have an opinion, it’s that they are pushing that opinion as fact, as correct on not just other fans but the writers as well. I just don’t understand what makes people feel they are any more capable of writing the show better than the writers themselves.

As long-time SPN fans, we have trusted writers, directors, & producers to understand the heart of Supernatural : the Winchester brothers’ story. For six and a half years, they remained true to that. But after a rapid decline in quality and loss of the central story, we have concluded that they have lost their way.

So now we are speaking up. Together. In one voice. The finale was not the show we’ve come to love. It was not the show we’ve come to respect. We know you can do better. Bring back the heart of our show!

Can’t you see what’s wrong with that mission statement? It’s okay to have discussions and opinions and criticisms but to essentially start a crusade for your opinion? I just don’t understand.

(And just an F.Y.I., my feelings on this apply to all sides of the coin. I’m an avid Destiel fan but if something like this cropped up in favor of Destiel and contacting the writers to make it happen, I would be against that as well.)

Yeah so the mirror in the “Bloody Mary” episode of Supernatural? I own the exact same mirror. AAAAAAAAAAH, don’t know whether to be excited or horrified.

So yeah, just casually bringing this back…
